DyzOps sends nothing about your servers unless you turn on Share start results (Mods โ Check). It is off by default and can be turned off at any time.
What is sent when it is on
- How a server start went: ready, failed, stuck or exited, and how long it took.
- For a failed start, the first error line of the engine (script file inside the mod, line number, message), with file system paths removed.
- The DayZ version, the DyzOps and mod base versions.
- The Workshop IDs of the loaded mods with the dates of their builds, in load order.
- When "Make it start" got a server running, the changes it made (which mods it added or disabled).
- A random ID made when you turn it on, so one install counts once. Turning it off deletes it.
What is not sent
Server names, IP addresses, ports, passwords, player data, configs, file system paths. The collector does not store the address a report came from.
What it is for
Finding mods that break on a new DayZ version and fixes that worked on many servers. A fix goes into the mod base only after a person checks it.
